The first Division II quarterback in NFL history to start is Tyson Bagent. Knowing the 2nd year quarterback for the Chicago Bears this was an honor but just the start to larger goals. Bagent, the Shepard University, and former Harlon Hill winner started 4 games this past season for the Bears. Bagent spent his NFL draft prep with quarterback coach Ken Mastrole in Southwest Florida. They spent 9 weeks preparing both physically and mentally for not only the NFL draft but the start of training camp. Fast forward to year 2. Bagent returned to SWFL where Mastrole with help of Chris Hess provided 3D motion analysis. From there Mastrole focused on footwork, functional strength, and efficiency in Bagent’s throwing mechanics.
Mastrole Quarterback Academy provides private, group, and camps for quarterbacks of all ages.
